Stopped here on my way through and I couldn’t have felt more welcome. The cafe was so warm and inviting and the owner even more so. I had a traditional scone with lemon curd and clotted cream and it was stunning. My kids even beg me to go back and we definitely plan to. As you walk in the door, you are greeted with warmth and a feeling of being ‘in England’ as you see so much European culture being shown and this place has a way of drawing you in to look further. And oh my gosh did it smell AMAZING!! Actually mouth watering and it drew us to the menu! The owner made my kids smile and gave them activities of things to spot on this colourful hall and she helped make ‘eating out with children’ a very easy and comfortable experience. 5 stars and I recommend this tea room to anyone and everyone as know, you definitely WONT be disappointed. Exceeds expectations!

What a special find on a rainy day drive to Urenui. The scone choice is amazing and the bottomless pot of tea was very welcomed. Our host was so lovely, helping us choose from the large selection of scones with jam, clotted cream and lemon curd. Such fun decor - very welcoming. We will be back!

What a wonderful experience going to this cafe was, from the welcome from the proprietor to the surprise and fun exploring the decor, trying on the myriad of hats. To top it off the lovely array of scones and toppings, beautifully presented. This place was the highlight of our trip.
